Seatti vs Pult: Two ways to measure office utilisation without sensors
Pult is a workplace platform from PULT GmbH in Hamburg that detects presence via Wi-Fi and IP and, by its own account, runs in more than 1,000 offices. Seatti also measures without additional hardware, but keeps the measurement in the same product as the booking. This page assesses both approaches using publicly verifiable information.
As of 6 October 2026. All information about Pult comes from publicly accessible sources listed at the end of this page. Details may change.
Summary
Both detect presence without additional sensors and both host in Germany. The difference lies in whether the measurement is part of the product or a separate module with its own price.
Seatti fits when space analytics should run from the start, when detection at the desk via existing hardware is needed alongside IP presence, and when Entra sync, multiple legal entities and a named ISO certifier are required.
Pult fits when a free entry for a small team at one site is enough, when Slack has to be served alongside Microsoft Teams, or when Wi-Fi presence detection should be bought as a standalone module.
Comparison table
All information comes from the providers' websites, retrieved on 6 October 2026. Where a detail could not be found publicly, this is stated explicitly. It does not mean the feature is missing.
Criterion | Seatti | Pult |
|---|---|---|
Entry list price | Workspace Management from €1.90 per user per month, Office Intelligence from €1.00 | Growth €2.90 per user per month, Business €3.90, Enterprise on request. According to the provider, only activated users are charged |
Free entry plan | Not offered on the pricing page | Starter free for up to 20 users, limited to one site. The FAQ on the same page additionally states a minimum purchase from 25 users |
Presence measurement | IP-based presence plus Seatti Signals via existing hardware at the desk, part of Office Intelligence. According to the pricing page, IP-based utilisation analytics is assigned to the Enterprise plan | Presence AI via Wi-Fi and IP, according to the pricing page a separate module from €99 per month, Enterprise on request. Desk Based Occupancy is assigned to the Enterprise plan |
Microsoft Teams and Outlook | Native in Teams, bookings land in the Outlook calendar | Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google from the Growth plan, Outlook is listed among the integrations |
Entra ID and SCIM | Entra ID sync in the product, users and groups automatically | Single sign-on from Growth, Okta in the Enterprise plan. No information on SCIM or Entra provisioning is published on the website |
Hosting | Data processing and hosting in the EU | By its own account GDPR compliant and hosted in Germany |
Certification | ISO 27001, certified by PROKS Certification, data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR | Own statement of ISO 27001 and GDPR certification. Certifier and scope are not named on the website; elsewhere it refers to ISO 27001 certified infrastructure |
Co-determination and privacy | Pseudonymised and aggregated data, no live monitoring, no geolocation, no working time recording, anonymous booking possible, work location optional | Own statement: presence checks via Wi-Fi are anonymous, data-minimising and without movement profiles |
Multiple sites | Multiple sites, legal entities and rule sets centrally, multi-tenant for groups | The free Starter is limited to one site. For the higher plans, no site limit is stated on the pricing page |
Rollout | Kick-off to go-live in under two weeks, no implementation costs according to the pricing page | Own statement: ready to use in minutes, 14-day trial |
Pricing compared
Both bill per user. The decisive difference lies in whether presence measurement is included in the price or charged separately.
Worked example: 250 employees, twelve months
Disclosed assumption: 250 licensed users, list prices without discount, Presence AI at the stated entry price.
250 times €1.90 times 12
250 times €2.90 times 12, both modules Essentials
250 times €2.90 times 12
€8,700 plus 12 times €99
Honestly assessed: on the pure booking plan, both offers are level in this scenario. The difference arises with the measurement. At Seatti, booking and analytics are included in the same amount; at Pult, Presence AI is added separately according to the pricing page. Check with the provider which plan is a prerequisite for Presence AI and whether the minimum purchase from 25 users applies, since the pricing page and the FAQ contradict each other on this point.
Switching from Pult to Seatti
The rollout follows Seatti's standard process. Users and groups come in via Microsoft Entra ID, presence detection is switched over during live operation.
Day 1
Kick-off and installation
Clarify goals and responsibilities, set up Seatti in the Microsoft environment, define access.
Week 1
Entra sync and network
Take over users and groups, store IP ranges per site, set up booking rules, train admins.
Week 2
Onboarding and go-live
Employees are onboarded in Teams, after which Seatti runs day to day. The legacy system stays readable until the cut-off date.
Afterwards
Add Signals
Activate detection at the desk via existing hardware and discuss the first space analysis with Real Estate.
The works council and data protection are involved early. Whether and in what form a works agreement is needed is decided by each company itself. This process is not legal advice.
Evidence from ongoing projects
Figures from the references published by Seatti. More than 100 companies use Seatti, according to its own information.

Not every company is right for Seatti. This assessment is meant to shorten the decision, not to belittle the competitor.
Frequently asked questions
Pult detects presence, by its own account, via Wi-Fi and IP. Seatti uses the same signal source and supplements it with Seatti Signals, which detect presence directly at the desk via existing hardware: a laptop on the monitor or dock means the desk was demonstrably used. For the question of which space can be given up, the difference between present in the building and used at the desk is decisive.
At Seatti, analytics is the Office Intelligence module, which according to the pricing page starts from €1.00 per user per month, with IP-based utilisation analytics assigned to the Enterprise plan. At Pult, Presence AI is a separate module from €99 per month according to the pricing page. Which variant is cheaper depends on the number of users, so it is worth calculating for your own size.
Both providers describe the capture as anonymous or pseudonymised and aggregated. Seatti additionally states explicitly: no live monitoring, no geolocation, no working time recording, anonymous booking possible and work location optional. Whether a works agreement is needed is decided by each company with its bodies. We provide the documents for that conversation, not legal advice.
At Pult, according to the pricing page, the free Starter plan is limited to one site; for the higher plans no site limit is stated there. Seatti manages multiple sites, legal entities and different rule sets centrally, with granular roles and multi-tenant operation for group structures. In both cases, clarify early how IP ranges are stored per site.
